This old monte alentejano, nestled beside our olive groves, is being carefully restored as a holiday retreat. A place to slow down, breathe in the herbs on the breeze, and wake up with the soft light of the Portuguese countryside pouring through the windows.
Soon, you’ll be able to visit us — to walk through the olive trees, share a meal under the stars, and soak in the quiet beauty of the land that inspires everything we make.

Monte Ovelha sits in the heart of a region full of hidden gems. Think medieval hilltop villages like Évora, Monsaraz and Marvão, whitewashed houses, cork forests, wildflower fields and endless skies. Go for long scenic drives, discover local pottery, or dip into one of the region’s peaceful river beaches.
Wineries worth the journey
Mainova: A bold and modern winery with a strong sustainability ethos, just like their wines. Their reds and whites are vibrant and full of character – try the one aged in amphora for a traditional twist.
Monte Branco: From night-harvested grapes to minimal intervention winemaking, these wines tell the story of Alentejo’s soil and sun. Don’t miss the Baga aged in French oak – it’s a favourite around here.
