Our Story

We are a family business that has been discovering traditional products in different regions in Europe.

Sonho started with the idea of creating an honest and authentic line of extra virgin olive oil, dressed in a ceramic bottle that you would want to see and use in your kitchen every day!

After discovering our amazing bio certified olive oil in the heart of Portugal, a region called the Alentejo. We also fell in love with other products of this amazing region, full of history, tradition and hard work. That is why we decided to also open our eyes (read: mouhts) to other products. And of course we want to keep adding products that tell a story and feel real.

As a family, we work together in all fields of the business.

Martine is passionate about decoration, she has her own handmade ceramics line. She also works with knitwear and has an eye for beautiful objects. Filip is a real food nerd, but in a good way. Always looking for new trendy food products with a story. Now Pieter and Maureen join the team to create Sonho Collective, combining their passion for food, traditional crafts and products.
